So the last guide was ok to a certain trophy count, now I'm in the 900s so the enemies have stronger defenses.
My strategy remained the same to a certain level, I still use about 40 goblins(lvl3), 45 archers(lvl3), 5 wallbreakers(lvl3) and 15 giants(lvl 3 - soon lvl 4).
Just got a new laboratory so stronger troops, now I'm training giants, after goblins, wallbreakers, then archers and after doesnt matter because I don't use balloons or wizards.
I find wallbreakers more importand than archers, but now that is up to you. I'm still not using the healers, why? Not worth it time/cost, maybe later when they will be a key aspect in attacking, for now they are not worth the time nor elixir.

So today we added the photos category to the website, mainly every member that wishes to, can post a picture of himself/herself, so we can all see each other. No one is obligated to do so, it's just for fun. We can also comment on pictures and rate them if we wish. Hope every one can enjoy. Hail Armageddon II!
I'm sure that there are TONS of ways of attacking but I'm just going to go over the ones I know. It depends on what you want, resources or trophies.
If u want the trophies, one way to attack is to find a village with an unprotected Town Hall and destroy it then "end battle". You may have to search awhile to find a village like this. This results with one (1) star and with a few trophies. I personally hate it when I gain trophies, but to do this only Archers and Barbarians are enough. The best way that I know is to create an effective mix and try to completely destroy the enemy's village. Personally, I use 11 Giants(lvl 3), 45 Archers(lvl 3), 25 Goblins(lvl 3), 5(lvl 2) wallbreakers(I don't always use them all), and sometimes for fun some wizards or balloons, now I have a level 6 Town Hall. With this mix I win about 80% of the time.
But I also use this mix for farming, but with 35 archers and 40 goblins. Even if many tend just to use goblins, archers and wallbreakers, I add the giants to take out the nasty mortars and wizard towers that can 2-shot-kill your troops.
This is the ultimate farming base for Town Hall lvl 8. By spreading the storages you nearly lose no resources. Put spring traps in front of the tesla's and a giants bomb next to the archer tower and cannons with mining sites for max defense. Sorry but I couldn't fit the screen when I screenshot. You can the the Town Hall down there, you can place it where u want, try to use the area of anti-spawn.
I'll post base layout guides as I lvl up my TH. This one I am using right now, my base doesn't look exactly like this, but it should, I'm almost there.
- I bet you are wondering why so wide spread, well this way the enemy can't spawn close to walls, and gets killed by the time he reaches you.
- Look at the base like a square diamond, it has 3 defenses on every side.
- The mortars in the middle... yes, well you can have them separated by one gold storage or like me one besides the other. I have them like that because one of them is in constant upgrade, when it's done I'll separate them with one gold storage, this way they have a wider range.
- Why the air defense outside? well it depends in what league you are, if u are in silver be prepared to be attacked by dragons.
- The spring traps and bombs, well it depends on your preferences, but I usually get attacked from bottom and top, on this image meaning left and right.

- I prefer to have the Town Hall outside, why? well it's useless, its best if you protect the resources. And if you loose the TH, and you loose when you are attacked, it's perfect, you can keep a low trophy count and not get attacked by really strong enemies, just weak ones :D.

- If u look at the walls closely it has a shape of a square, 3 defenses on every side, each one protecting each other
- One more thing, you can place the TH where u want around the base, where u feel it should sit(the useless thing)
- Almost forgot, you can see the clan castle is protected, it depends if you always have troops in it that jump out and defend your base, but if you feel uncomfortable you can switch it with the cannon that is lower to it, just switch positions.
